Novella
First Love
A Human Authored Book for Humans
Two people know how to speak to machines. Being understood by each other is another matter.
A novella in ten scenes about two people who are more at ease with books and questions than with being seen.
The opening scene is available here. The complete novella is shared privately by invitation.
About the book
Ten scenes, one bookstore, and two people who understand machines a little better than they understand being looked at. First Love is the first title from Digital Placebo.
The opening scene is available here. The complete novella is read first by invited readers, in a private reading room that works on a desktop or a phone, keeps your place, and lets you annotate privately in your own browser. The first invitations are going out now; they are personal and come from the publisher.
How it was made
Anatomy of First Love is the publisher's reading of this book, from its first question to the room built for it.
